The raw materials are sourced from Grasse, which guarantees their quality and promotes local activities.We research different scents and let them rest for several months to achieve the perfect balanced scent. History
1825: Monsieur Hermann, uncle of Marcus Spurway on vacation in Cannes, opens the first distillery, which he calls "La Parfumerie de l'Ile Notre Dame".
1893: Marcus Humphrey Spurway, Brazilian consul in Cannes and Herbert O'Donoghue, a descendant of the royal house of Munster in Ireland, takes the torch. Perfumery becomes Spurway.
1897: The house opens workshops all over the world (London, New York, Vienna, Sydney, Cannes) and enriches it with aromatic raw materials from all over the world. In each of their boutiques, they experiment with personalized sensory approaches to express the subtle nuances of personality.
1905: Spurway quickly becomes the emblem of natural perfumes, and the official perfumer of the Queen of England.
1935: Jacques Langasque, the prodigy of perfumery and cosmetics, takes the reins of the company. The brand carefully designs a range of products for loyal and well-known customers. 1945: During the Cannes Film Festival, the brand grabs the attention of an international audience and begins to develop custom perfumes for celebrities such as Michelle Morgan and others.
